About the Artist: Saraq
I knew that I found the love of my life when I was only six years old. Looking at a drawing I had just made, I felt a euphoric joy completely unknown to me until that moment. As an introverted child growing up in Los Angeles, art became my voice and my shield. I found myself constantly drawing heroes and heroines, winning local art contests, and quietly building the confidence to stand in my own truth. The city around me was a cold, harsh concrete jungle. In response to the misery of that environment, a fire was fueled within me—a relentless drive to create an entire world of beauty and escape into another dimension through my creations.
Refined Chaos
It was during my university years that I truly found and refined my signature artistic style. I treated that time as a sacred, God-given opportunity to play, experiment, and dabble deeply with completely different art mediums.
Today, as a mixed media artist, I refuse to be confined to a single canvas. I intentionally fuse paint, wood, photography, and metal to physically express my incessant desire for beauty, weaving them together to tell the ongoing story of my romance with art.

Depending on my artistic mood, you will find my collections are incredibly varied in theme. I do not shy away from the shadows. My creations are actively driven by the complex human experiences of rage, sexual conflict, profound suffering, and the ultimate fight between light and darkness.
The Incessant Inspiration
My work is deeply inspired by a vast expanse of influences: the breathtaking patterns of nature, the divinity of God, the complex grace of women, and even the playful, untouched child that still lives within me.
The Deepest Desires
Every stroke, texture, and metal weld is an attempt to map out the deepest desires of the human heart. It is an exploration of the raw emotions we try to hide, brought out into the open to be witnessed.
The Living Conversation
